Outreach Program

Plié All Day!

Plié All Day! is a community outreach program that offers free, beginning, ballet classes to children living in shelters or participating with The Carying Place program. B B&T/Truist in partnership with Dance Etc. & Releve Dancewear supply the kids with brand new ballet shoes, tights, leotards, and dance gear for the boys. We bring dancers to assist with the demonstration and music. Our instructors have crafted a beginning curriculum especially for these new dancers, that will be challenging and rewarding at the same time.

This program currently serves: The Carying Place

Each month, our Company dancers volunteer their time to assist the instructor and the children. This gives our dancers a chance to use their art form to connect with their community in a more intimate and transformative way. We are not sure who benefits from this experience more – the kids or our dancers.

Support Plié All Day!

Our goal is to increase funding through individual donors, corporate partners and grants, so we can continue the monthly classes, provide dance gear and tickets for the kids to attend our Nutcracker & Spring Works productions.
